A2EP launches decarbonisation training to build industry capacity

30 July 2022

In addition to bold targets and enabling technologies, decarbonising our economy will require the building of industry capacity, ensuring people from a range of backgrounds have the skills and knowledge to implement change and identify opportunities along the way.

Recognising a gap in the training market to respond to this need, A2EP has developed a two training courses:

  • Decarbonisation technologies 101 (one-day course)

  • Integrative design for decarbonisation and energy productivity (two-day course)

The Decarbonisation technologies 101 course is an introductory course aimed at graduates/junior staff, government officers looking to gain an understanding of decabonising operations and approaches of businesses they engage with, and also for team members that have an interest in this area but may not be from engineering or energy backgrounds.

Bookings for the first sessions for in September are now open:

  • Sydney - Wednesday 7 September

  • Melbourne - Monday 12 September
