We were joined by Tennant Reed from Australian Industry Group for an essential update on local energy markets.
We then received policy briefings from representatives from the NSW and Victorian Governments.
Chloe Hicks, Director of Energy Infrastructure and Zones at the NSW Department of Industry, Environment and Planning (DPIE) provided an update on the state's Renewable Energy Zones and opportunities for business.
Alexander Peel from the Victorian Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning gave an overview of the emissions reduction and energy efficiency related drivers in the water sector, with an overview on key areas of interest including demand response and waste-to-energy.
