WATCH: Industrial Process Heat Update

This briefing followed on from our popular industrial process heat and heat pump events in 2020. It was an excellent update covering a range of process heat applications and issues.

Our presentations included:


Dr Veronika Wilk - The DryFiciency Project Co-ordinator, Austrian Institute of Technology

A presentation on the European DryFiciency Project and the integration of high temperature heat pumps in industrial drying processes.


Bill McGhie - Energy and Carbon Specialist, Simble

A presentation on the ability to monitor heat pump performance, including electricity, gas and water usage and sub-metering, using the SimbleSense tool.


Jon Fettes - Principal Consultant, Regenerate Engineering

A presentation on the heat pump feasibility study completed for Three Ravens Brewery as part of the facility's energy upgrades. Jon was joined by project consultant, Michael Bellstedt from Minus40.


Jarrod Leak - CEO, Australian Alliance for Energy Productivity

As well as hosting this update, Jarrod presented an update on A2EP's work on process heat with ARENA and the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment, and walked through the heat pump technology selection tool developed by A2EP with pitt+sherry and SmartConsult.
